Official Rules for CartCade Skill Competitions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in CartCade competitions and skill challenges (the “Competition”). By participating, entrants agree to comply with these rules and all decisions made by CartCade staff.

These rules apply to CartCade competitions including but not limited to:

• Closest-to-the-Pin contests
• Long Drive contests
• Arcade High Score competitions
• Multi-Sport simulator challenges
• Other skill-based competitions operated by CartCade

1. Sponsor and Operator

Competitions are operated by CartCade Events, a mobile event entertainment service operated by FanFam LLC.

CartCade operates competitions at temporary event locations including:

• Festivals
• Corporate events
• Private events
• Community events
• Other hosted experiences

CartCade does not operate a permanent venue or brick-and-mortar entertainment facility.

2. Competition Overview

CartCade competitions are skill-based contests where participants compete for the best score, performance, or result based on the specific challenge.

Examples include but not limited to:

• Closest distance to the pin
• Longest drive
• Highest arcade score
• Best simulator performance in a sport challenge

Competition rules may vary depending on the specific event.

3. Event Location and Duration

Competitions take place during specific events hosted or attended by CartCade.

Event hours and competition availability are determined by:

• The hosting venue
• The event organizer
• CartCade staff

Competitions may close early if a winner has been determined or if the event ends.

4. Eligibility

Participants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older, or have parent or guardian consent if under 18
• Must follow all posted rules and staff instructions
• Must complete payment for participation prior to competing

The following individuals are not eligible to win prizes:

• CartCade staff
• Individuals operating or administering the competition

CartCade reserves the right to refuse participation for safety or conduct reasons.

5. Entry Fees

Participation in CartCade competitions may require the purchase of attempts or entries.

Entry fees are determined and displayed onsite for each event and may vary depending on the event, venue, or competition format.

All entry fees are non-refundable.

Participants may purchase multiple attempts unless otherwise stated by event staff.

6. Equipment

Participants must use CartCade-provided equipment for competitions unless otherwise approved by CartCade staff.

This may include but is not limited to:

• Golf clubs
• Sports simulator equipment
• Arcade machines
• Gaming controllers

CartCade staff may restrict personal equipment to ensure fairness and safety.

7. Simulator and Equipment Systems

Certain competitions may rely on simulator or digital systems to determine results.

Examples include:

• Golf simulator systems
• Sports simulation software
• Arcade game scoring systems

The equipment or system used for the competition serves as the official scoring system for the event.

All results recorded by the system are considered official unless a malfunction occurs.

8. Scoring and Results

Competition scoring methods vary depending on the event.

Examples include:

• Closest distance to the pin
• Longest distance achieved
• Highest score
• Fastest completion time
• Best performance recorded by the simulator or equipment

CartCade staff will determine the scoring format for each event.

All scoring determinations made by CartCade staff are final.

9. Tie-Breaker Rules

If two or more participants achieve identical scores or results, a tie-breaker round or method may be used.

Tie-breaker rules will be determined and communicated by CartCade staff for the specific event.

Examples of tie-breakers may include:

• Additional attempts
• Closest-to-target challenges
• Sudden-death rounds
• Score comparison methods

CartCade staff will determine the appropriate tie-breaker method.

All tie-breaker decisions are final.

10. Prizes

Prizes offered for CartCade competitions are determined and advertised onsite for each event.

Prizes may include:

• Cash prizes
• Merchandise
• Sponsor-provided items
• Event tickets
• CartCade credits or free attempts
• Other promotional prizes

Prize values and availability may vary by event.

Prizes are non-transferable unless otherwise specified.

11. Taxes

Prize winners are responsible for any applicable taxes related to prizes received.

For prizes that require tax reporting, winners may be required to complete:

IRS Form W-9

CartCade may issue Form 1099-MISC or other required tax documentation where applicable.

12. Video Recording and Media Use

CartCade reserves the right to record video and photographs of competition attempts and participants.

Recorded content may be used for:

• Event documentation
• Competition verification
• Marketing and promotional purposes

By participating in a CartCade competition, participants acknowledge that video recording may occur regardless of media release preferences indicated in any separate CartCade waiver or participation form.

Participation constitutes consent to the use of recorded footage for legitimate business and promotional purposes.

13. Safety

Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by CartCade staff.

Participants must:

• Remain within designated play areas
• Follow staff instructions during gameplay
• Use equipment properly and safely

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in disqualification.

14. Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully toward staff and other participants.

CartCade reserves the right to remove any participant for:

• Unsafe behavior
• Harassment or misconduct
• Failure to follow contest rules

Entry fees will not be refunded for participants removed due to misconduct.

15. Equipment Malfunction

Competitions relying on electronic systems or equipment may occasionally experience technical issues.

In the event of equipment malfunction, CartCade reserves the right to:

• Void the affected attempt or score
• Allow the participant to retry the attempt
• Pause or suspend the competition until the issue is resolved

CartCade staff will determine whether a malfunction has occurred.

All determinations are final.

16. Fraud or Manipulation

Any attempt to manipulate or interfere with competition equipment or results may result in immediate disqualification.

Examples include but are not limited to:

• Attempting to alter scoring systems
• Tampering with equipment
• Exploiting game mechanics or software errors

CartCade reserves the right to remove participants suspected of fraudulent behavior.

Entry fees will not be refunded for participants disqualified for rule violations.

17. Event Changes or Cancellation

CartCade reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel competitions due to:

• Weather conditions
• Equipment malfunction
• Safety concerns
• Venue or event requirements

If a competition is cancelled prior to participation, refunds may be issued at CartCade’s discretion.

18. Limitation of Liability

Participation in competitions may involve physical activity and inherent risks.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that they assume all risks associated with participation.

CartCade Events and FanFam LLC are not responsible for injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from participation.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

Any disputes arising from participation in CartCade competitions shall be resolved in accordance with Tennessee law.

20. Acceptance of Rules

Participation in any CartCade competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

All decisions made by CartCade staff regarding contest operation, rule interpretation, scoring, and prize determination are final.
