These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the CartCade Hole-In-One Competition (the “Competition”). By participating, entrants agree to comply with these rules and all decisions made by CartCade staff.
1. Sponsor and Operator
The Competition is operated by CartCade Events, a mobile event entertainment service operated by FanFam LLC.
CartCade operates competitions at temporary event locations including festivals, private events, corporate gatherings, and other hosted events.
CartCade does not operate a permanent golf facility or brick-and-mortar venue.
2. Competition Overview
The CartCade Hole-In-One Competition is a skill-based golf challenge conducted using a mobile golf simulator.
Participants attempt to hit a golf ball into the hole in a single stroke from a designated tee position.
The first participant to achieve a verified hole-in-one during the event wins the advertised prize.
3. Event Location and Duration
Competitions take place during specific events hosted or attended by CartCade.
Event location, hours, and competition availability are determined by the hosting venue and CartCade staff.
Once a verified hole-in-one occurs, the competition immediately closes and no additional prizes will be awarded.
4. Eligibility
Participants must meet the following requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older, or have parent or guardian consent if under 18
Must follow all posted rules and safety instructions
Must complete payment for attempts prior to participation
The following individuals are not eligible to win prizes:
CartCade staff
Individuals operating or administering the competition
CartCade reserves the right to refuse participation for safety or conduct reasons.
5. Entry Fees
Participation requires the purchase of attempts.
Entry fees are determined and displayed onsite for each event and may vary depending on the venue, festival, or private event.
All entry fees are non-refundable.
Participants may purchase multiple attempts during the event subject to the course rotation rules described below.
6. Course Rules
Competition holes are selected by CartCade staff using the golf simulator.
Rules include:
Each Hole-in-One Competition will have one “Starting Hole” which each participant plays for attempts 1-6
“Starting Hole” is determined day of for each event
After shot 6 (and every 6 shots thereafter) participants rotate to a different hole
Each hole used in the competition will be a minimum of 165 yards in length
Participants may take a maximum of six (6) shots per course hole
After six attempts on a hole, the participant must continue play on a different course hole
“Starting Hole” and rotation are determined solely by CartCade staff.
7. Equipment
Participants must use CartCade-provided golf clubs and equipment.
Golf balls used in the competition are CartCade branded golf balls manufactured by Vice Golf.
Personal clubs or equipment are not permitted unless explicitly approved by CartCade staff.
8. Simulator System
Shot tracking and results are determined by the Foresight Falcon launch monitor and simulator system.
The simulator determines:
Tee Position (chosen by CartCade staff in accordance with “Course Rules” listed above)
Ball flight
Shot distance
Whether the ball enters the hole
Simulator results serve as the official scoring system for the competition.
9. Shot Verification
A hole-in-one is recognized only when:
The simulator records the ball entering the hole in one stroke, and
CartCade staff verify the shot occurred within the competition rules.
CartCade staff may review simulator data and/or video recording prior to confirming a winner.
All determinations made by CartCade staff regarding shot results are final.
10. Prize
The prize offered for each CartCade Hole-In-One Competition is determined and advertised onsite for each event.
Prize conditions:
Awarded to the first verified hole-in-one
Only one prize may be awarded per event
The competition closes immediately once a winner is confirmed
Prize payout method:
Paid by company check unless otherwise specified
Issued within 14 business days after verification
Prize is non-transferable
If no participant achieves a hole-in-one during the event, no prize will be awarded.
CartCade may elect to insure certain competitions or prizes through third-party contest insurance providers for larger prize values.
11. Taxes
Prize winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Prior to receiving prize payment, the winner must complete:
• IRS Form W-9
CartCade may issue a Form 1099-MISC or other required tax documentation in accordance with applicable law.
12. Video Recording and Media Use
CartCade reserves the right to record video or photographs of all competition attempts, including winning shots.
Video recording may be used for:
Contest verification
Event documentation
Marketing and promotional purposes
By participating in the competition, participants acknowledge and agree that video recording may occur regardless of whether the participant has opted out of media release provisions in any separate CartCade waiver or participation form.
Participation constitutes consent to the use of recorded footage for legitimate business and promotional purposes.
13. Safety
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by CartCade staff.
Participants must:
Remain within designated hitting areas
Wait for staff clearance before swinging
Follow all posted safety instructions
CartCade may disqualify any participant who fails to follow safety rules.
14. Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully toward staff and other participants.
CartCade reserves the right to remove any participant for:
Unsafe behavior
Harassment or misconduct
Failure to follow contest rules
Entry fees will not be refunded for participants removed due to misconduct.
15. Event Changes or Cancellation
CartCade reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition due to:
Weather conditions
Equipment malfunction
Safety concerns
Venue or event requirements
If a competition is cancelled prior to participation, refunds may be issued at CartCade’s discretion.
16. Limitation of Liability
Participation in the competition involves physical activity and inherent risks.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that they assume all risks associated with participation.
CartCade Events and FanFam LLC are not responsible for injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from participation.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Tennessee.
Any disputes arising from participation in the competition shall be resolved in accordance with Tennessee law.
18. Acceptance of Rules
Participation in the competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
All decisions made by CartCade staff regarding contest operation, rule interpretation, and prize determination are final.
19. Simulator Malfunction
The competition relies on the Foresight Falcon launch monitor and simulator system to track ball flight and determine results.
In the event of a simulator malfunction, misread, or technical error, CartCade reserves the right to:
Void the affected shot or attempt
Require the participant to retake the shot
Pause or temporarily suspend the competition until the issue is resolved
CartCade staff will determine whether a malfunction has occurred.
All determinations regarding equipment functionality are final.
20. Fraud, Abuse, or Manipulation
Any attempt to manipulate, damage, interfere with, or exploit the simulator system, equipment, or contest operation may result in immediate disqualification.
Examples include but are not limited to:
Intentionally interfering with simulator sensors
Attempting to alter ball flight tracking
Damaging equipment
Any conduct deemed by CartCade staff to be fraudulent or abusive
CartCade reserves the right to remove any participant suspected of attempting to manipulate the competition.
Entry fees will not be refunded for participants disqualified due to rule violations or misconduct.
